6’5 Cory Watson: Ready to show leadership!

Cory knows about winning. After making the MIAA championship two years in a row, he gets ready to begin his senior year . Whats more important, his school Gilman moves to the A conference. They are also a very young team that expects to have 3 freshman on the team. Cory has excepted that he has to be a leader. “I’ve been through it all at Gilman. I can’t believe I am a senior. I know the guys are going to go through some up and downs and I am ready to show them the leadership they need. Not just on the court, but off the court!”, states Watson. That is a huge statement from Watson. Cory has just entered the Prospect Exposure program. Prospect Exposure’s Jason Taylor is excited to be working with Cory! “Any time you have a player that attends such an academic school as Gilman, it makes your job easy.” states Jason Taylor. It will not be easy for Cory on the court. The MIAA A conference is second to none. If Gilman has any chance to win, Watson will have to play a huge role. They will not have any easy games this year. The good thing is if Cory can show the leadership, and hold his own on the court, he will impress college coaches. We have already received some interest from schools about Cory. Cory has shown the ability to be a strong defender, and has the ability to move for his size We will keep you informed on his progress as the young man thrives to be a leader!
